Nepal Before the Crisis

Crowdfunding for Nepal

This is my good friend Duncan Lanser on one of his intrepid travelling expeditions. This was a Nepalese adventure that he undertook last year. He often talks about his experiences from the trip with passion and fondness. Due to the huge influence that his visit to Nepal had on him, and his deep sadness on hearing of the earthquake tragedies, he has decided to use his talent as a journal writer to try to help the current crisis the country is going through.

The devastating effect that the earthquakes have left on communities in Nepal have been well publicised, and despite continuous fundraising through many agencies, recovery is still a long way off and much support is still required.

Unicef Nepal Update

Over the summer we have set up a crowdfunding page as a starter to raise funds for the project. Duncan is going to write and publish a travel journal from his experiences in Nepal. The travel journal, along with calendars produced using some stunning photographs from his journey, will be on sale as part of the project. To see the different packages for donating please check out our funding page:

Nepal Crowdfunding

We are currently in the process organising a few events to support the cause, including a nepalese themed fun day in Stockport and a live music event in Brixton.
Duncan is also in training to run the Budapest marathon in aid of the cause in October.

If you are interesting in supporting the cause, or attending any of the related events please contact any of the Crowdfunding for Nepal team via our facebook page
